I’ve worked with Alison for 4 years at the Griffin Institute (TGI) where she acted as a CEO. Alison always provided a very consistent and positive presence in whatever activity she took. She is a very dedicated, hands-on, detail-oriented professional yet very conscious of staff development.

Her strong interpersonal skills and empathy led her to prioritise employee needs along with the support everyone needed to excel in their work. She has provided excellent guidance both to the business and personally to each employee through difficult times, especially during pandemic. When she took over as CEO at TGI, she guided our Institute to overcome the hurdles of a major restructuring process and financial challenges leading the team to grow consciously and consistently.

Alison always provided a consistent and positive presence in whatever business venture we, as an Institute, explored over the years. She continually found new ways to expand the Institute operations and provided hands-on help whenever necessary in order to help the business and employees to grow. Her high level of expertise and self-confidence pair with solid leadership skills and a firm understanding of business operations in the charity industry, and she is more than capable to take over any challenge that lies ahead of her.

I have known Alison for several years and I was delighted when she agreed to join the governing body of Langdon College. She provides insightful solutions while ensuring the outcomes of the organisation are focussed and meaningful. She brings purposeful challenge and a wealth of knowledge within the charity and business sector.

Alison was pivotal in securing significant funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for the development of a visitor’s centre at Bevis Marks Synagogue. She quickly got to grips with the specialist knowledge and understanding that was required to service such a complex project and drove it forward. She managed numerous stakeholders and tight, often onerous deadlines. This project, when completed, will be transformational for the community and this is no small way due to Alison’s hard work, tenacity and attention to detail.

Alison’s leadership has been crucial in guiding the Institute through the challenges of the pandemic and a major restructuring process. She is consultative in her approach, flexible and hard working. She grasps problems quickly, finds solutions and is decisive. Alison is creative and will work tirelessly to improve an organisation.

I’ve known Alison Rosen for many years, as a eager young Finance Director and more recently as a CEO, as a work colleague and a friend.  She is dedicated and values driven, she  takes her work very seriously.  She is thoughtful, pragmatic and generous with her time.  She is non-judgemental and respectful, valuing differences and diversity.   She’s a quiet leader, but has the grit and determination required of a great CEO.
