NFP Street is a new Charity and Not for Profit Consultancy and Support Service launched by Alison Rosen who is both a Chartered Accountant and an experienced Charity Chief Executive.
She draws on her expertise gained in working for many years with a range of charities across social welfare, health, grant giving, community based , overseas and heritage charities. Thus Alison and other key experts are able to offer consultancy across a wide range of specialities including strategic planning, infrastructure reviews and governance reviews as well as offering support services including Trust Fundraising, Finance and IT.
She is also available for mentoring and general advice. Alison is offering an initial free 60 minute consultation on any relevant topic, Our aim is to enable charities to operate the best that they can so that they can concentrate on delivering to beneficiaries.

Alison Rosen recently stepped down as CEO The Griffin Institute. The Griffin Institute is a leading surgical training and medical research charity based at Northwick Park hospital. Working to improve outcomes for patients of all ages who are living with disease and disability. Formally Northwick Park Institute of Medical Research, The Institute converts the best in surgical skills training and scientific research into genuine successes which transform patient care. Under Alison’s leadership the Griffin Institute stayed open during Covid and filled a much-needed gap in repatriating surgical training from Europe.
Alison is an experienced strategic and values driven Charity CEO with over twenty years’ senior leadership experience within the voluntary sector, particularly in health, social welfare, and disability charities. Her experience includes leading organisational and transformative change, introducing new and innovative programmes, strategic and business planning, property management, implementing governance frameworks and establishing infrastructure. Starting her career as a Finance Director, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Alison has worked at a myriad of charities as FD, CEO and a Consultant. She has also worked on consultancy projects for Hertfordshire Probation Area and with Z/Yen management consultants in the public sector.
She is driven by personal experience with a younger brother with autism and having lost both her parents young from cancer. This makes the charitable field particularly meaningful.
